Is it just me, or is there something familiar about this young man who is not missing any fingers? (Rafael.) (It’s Rafael.)
- If I had to translate it, I’d say “amor del bueno” sounds like “that good good love.”
- With those tribal tattoos and the kind of patches on the vest (Molotov, Café Tacvba), seems like I’m implying a certain decade, eh?
- I know you’re thinking of a certain question. Worry not, I am here to answer it. Yes, Rafael is slightly nearsighted.

I wanted to draw Iolanthe hanging out in her new apartment, quiet and tired and probably before the whole thing with Amparo disappearing happened.
I promise you now that Iolanthe gets a happy ending. In Arc 2, she’s going to have to deal with a lot. She’ll meet ghosts, travel to the land of the dead, learn about Bright World, deal with grief, and have to make some hard decisions.
I promise, though, by the end of this story, she’ll not only get a happy ending: she’ll be triumphant.

I’m taking a little break between arcs, and I’m using that as a chance to drop some pinups, bits of lore, soundtrack, so on and so forth. For now, here we are: Death and her three dogs. One from our world to the land of the dead, one from the land of the dead to Bright World, and one from our world to Bright World.
